Default Excellent NFR S2K Detail

I spotted this thread on Autopia earlier today. It's a great detail job done by a guy in the UK who I have a lot of respect for. Dave's really a great paint polisher and this owner was lucky to have him spiff up his car . . .

Nice... I'll be attempting to rid my NFR of the minor swirls that my dealer through in for free almost two years ago. I hope it comes out looking 'bout as good.

Red is proving to make me appreciate the work some of you Berlina folks put into your cars.

The thing I enjoy most about reading Dave's detail write ups is that you can tell he puts a lot of thought into what machine to use, what polish, and what pad based on the imperfections of the paint and the hardness of the paint.

Also, Dave is a carnauba FREAK. He owns almost every high end carnauba wax there is.

Dave is one of my favorite detailers on autopia--the quality of his work is incredible and his writeups are very helpful.
