FYI--use the following link to take you directly to Adams. You get the three cans for $39.xx plus much lower shipping. I just bought directly from Adams and my total was $47.xx. The difference is in the shipping and handling charge. Some retailers stick it to you on the shipping and handling charges. Adams doesn't.

Competition is competition. The free market is a free market. If one can find it cheaper, that's where one should go. If you, as a retailer, can't compete, adjust or fold. Your deal is no deal when you inflate the shipping to make up the difference.

By the way, Adams is not a sponsor--you are. And I can get the merchandise to my door cheaper than you, as a sponsor, offer.

So, tell me, why should I buy from you?

some people may prefer to buy from detailersdomain because he has a SOLID rep on this site and provides huge amounts of info to beginners and to those who have an inquiring mind. The price may be a little more but he does help support the funds to keep s2ki going. Maybe you should just buy from the website you listed instead of heckling him? It already sounds like no matter what answer he gives you wont buy from him.

Hey GUEST CB, read the threads. No I won't buy from him if his prices are higher than elsewhere. If you want to throw your money after him, go for it. But the MEMBERS (FYI, that's those who pay their way here) have a right to know there are better prices elsewhere. Now if you knew anything about Adam Smith and the principles of a free market...but then you don't, do you?

It's a free country--you can spend your money wherever you want. But I choose to promote competition and excellence.

yes you can spend it any way you want I have no worries about that.

retvet you can really support anyone you want I have no problems with that, I'm just telling you like it is I don't margins Adam's has he's the manufacturer, as well he pushes tons more product than I do.

I'm a small time player, and I'm not forcing you to buy from me.

We do offer forum discounts etc so from time to time we do have items that do beat others, I can't win them all.

I have purchased items from detailerdomain many times and have always had customer service. They have always been a great help and phil always has group buys and gives us a discount on his site. No one asks him for this he just loves to keep stuff clean. Buy your items from anyone you want and go to an economics class if you want to talk about free enterprise....this is a S2000 site

I'm glad to see you read about Adam Smith in your Econ 101 class this past semester and couldn't wait to put that new knowledge to use. I applaud your enthusiasm! What was the word of the day today on your word of the day calendar? Have you managed to squeeze it into a conversation yet?

Free market economy is not the issue here. Manners are. Phil is a paying sponsor here and on that fact alone has earned the courtesy of not having someone posting support of his competition in his thread about a new product he's carrying. When you add in the group buys, advice, help, etc. Phil gives the forum he certainly doesn't deserve treatment like this.

While it's great that you're a paying member of the site, the members alone do not provide all the support the site needs to stay on-line. The sponsors provide the rest.

All I know is that in the days when Wanabe was patrolling this area of the forum I never EVER saw anyone behave in such a manner towards another forum member (or guest).
