Engine Detailing in a Turbo Car ..
Hey guys
I have a turbo s2k and i want to clean my engine bay because it is really dirty.
There is a Meguiar's Shop here that can do the engine detailing job but since my car is turbo and the manifold , oil lines , wires are not protected i didnt know what to do about this.
What do you guys think about this ? anything that i should look out for ? Should i let them clean the engine bay like they do to other cars (high pressure washer) or should i just clean it with a towel ?
And here is a picture just for reference ;
Thanks
Tolga

agree- and you can use a plastic bag over your air intake if you are concerned about getting water in the turbo...
at the top of our board are our
"how tos"-
the engine cleaning one is here:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=278999
and as jswhaler suggested, you can search for others.
read through the info and post back any more questions that you might have -
btw, i dont like pressure on any part of the car except the underside, unless you have severe engine grease- only then would i use steam or any pressure at all. you really do not usually need pressure.
