Are you guys still using these pads?

I'm just about ready to buy a pc and wasn't sure what pads to get.

Also, I have light swirl marks and scuffing from going crazy with the clay in a couple of spots. What would you recommend? I use Klasse and P21s.
I am definitely still using these pads. In fact, I haven't even had to replace any of them yet. I'm still very happy with them. However, I left some of the XMT pad cleaner on my blue pad for a few days (didn't get around to actually running some water over it) and it seems to have eaten some of the foam. It still looks to be useable though.

As far as fixing up your paint . . . you'll need some polishes. What you have won't "cut" it (pun intended ). There are a lot of great polishes out there. Read some reviews and decide what's right for you.

ooops, about the blue pad.
I've read some reviews and this is what I've come up with so far.

I think I'm going to use Menzerna final polish and the edge white pad followed by klasse AIO but not sure what pad to use and then P21S with the red pad.

BTW thanks for everything, you've added a tremendous amount of knowledge and time to this forum and I appreciate it.

IDK what kind of shape your car looks like but it would have to be extremely light marring for Final Polish to take it out.

If I were you, I'd get that and a more aggressive polish like Intensive Polish and a variety of pads (maybe orange, white, blue) to make sure you can fix all the scratches without having to make another order.

I have the entire line of Edge pads, both 6in regular and wave.

I dont like using it on the DA because of all the problems people are having on the forums. I use it on the rotary but the cutting pads tend to hop.

I only use the Edge now with the lighter polishing pads. For the cutting, I use LCC, Megs, and Edge wool pads.

I do love the quick release and auto centering feature though.

Hook and loop for me!

I have the wave pads as well. I don't like them for use on the PC. I originally bought them to use on a rotary, but never ended up buying the rotary.

Never had a problem with pad hop with either type of pad though.

Pad hop is only on the rotary
