Eagle One Wax-as-u-dry strips Zaino and Liquid Glass!?!?!?!!?!!?!
I have posted in the past about how well Eagle ones Wax as u dry works but unfortunately there seems to be a serious downside. I had tried Zaino a while back and was extremely disapointed with how long it lasted (several weeks!!!!!) before losing the ability to bead water. While I fell back to my old standby, Liquid Glass, which I still think is the most durable, longlasting product made (poerhaps not as optically clear as Zaino). I put two coats of Liquid Glass on over a two week period. Two coats would usually lasy 6 months or longer. I use the Eagle One wax as u dry product with weekly washes and lo and behold I now have no water beading after two weeks. So it looks like you can not use the Eagle one product if you put coats of Zaino or Liquid Glass on your car. Eagle One wax as u dry removes both Liquid Glass and Zaino (presumably it also removes traditional wax but I have not tried this combo yet. This sucks because all of these product are great independently but do not work together....

interesting, but very strange...
zaino should last 6 mos or so-
but, i wouldnt know from personal experience, as i usually apply it about every other month, and it is still beading nicely (i have never gone for 6 mos without reapplying). i also top it with carnuba- so it could be either the wax or the zaino that is beading.

I like that "wax as you dry" stuff for in between waxings. Maybe I'll have to go back to just spray detailer or the NXT booster wax.
I have a bottle of the NXT booster stuff but haven't used it yet.
It kind of cracks me up about this whole "durability" thing since I wax my cars more often than they really need it anyway.
Wintertime - for sure the durability will be important for the daily driver but if it's wet or snowing - the S2000 stays in the garage!

I applied the Zaino following direction exactly (clay bar, dawn wash, Z1, Z5 etc.). I could never figure out why people were raving about it when it only lasted a couple weeks on my car. Well, I know how long Liquid Glass lasts but when using Wax-as-u-dry simultaniously it also only lasted several weeks. The bottom line is wax-as-u-dry is a great stand alone product but will strip off everything else
