Default Eagle 1 Wax as U Dry

I used the Eagle 1 Wax as U dry spray on my S2000 this weekend. I give it a big

It is a spray that you use after you have washed the car and while it is still wet. You simply wash car, spray on the Wax as you dry and then dry with a towel. It left a nice slick waxed feeling on the paintjob, no white residue or smears on windows or paint and water beads nicely. It can also be used on a dry car as a wax touchup product.

I have not been impressed with products like this in the past but have to say I am impressed. It takes less than 2 minutes to "wax" your car and with each wash the protection and shine are supposed to get stronger and deeper. I had a couple of coats of Zaino Z-2 on the car already but it was fading fast, this treatment seemed to restore the shine. I will continue to put on a couple of coats of "real" wax every spring and fall (probably switch from Zaino to Liquid Glass since it lasts longer) and use this Eagle product with every weekly wash.

I also use this product and really like it. Only thing I can say to watch out for is make sure you dry the car off right away because on my car (which is black) you may have to go back and buff small areas.

i wonder if you z2 with this over it how it would work...
my recollection is that eagle 1 is a carnuba product, so it might be like my p21s over z2.

It looks good, probably similar although P21s is more expensive and better? In any case, I got a bottle of Wax as U Dry for around 3.99 and will get 4-6 waxes out of it at least.

p21s is about $25, but you get a whole lot of coats out of a jar...
so, p21s is prob not more expensive on a per shine basis-
i suggest a fresh z2 followed by your product.
compared to z2 alone, it should be a deeper shine.

I got a bottle of the stuff free and tried it. . . . Good stuff! I think the reason it worked so well is that the "S" always has a good coat of wax on her. Hey Wanabe, I read that a lot of people re-wash their cars after claying. Is there really a need to re-wash? Any comments?

hey whaler- good question-
usually no need to rewash after claying (unless the car was really contaminated). after normal claying, just wipe down (i use detailers sprays to clay with) and you are ready for your next step. the next step could be zaino, wax, etc.
some folks like to rinse after claying... nothing wrong with that.
some even use water to clay with- imo a bit risky if the water has contaminents in it.
as with most detailing, there is no right or wrong way- just whichever you prefer!

Try some of the Eagle 1 "Wipe & Shine" too, almost the same as the Wax-as-u-dry but a little easier because it has no wax in it. I use both all the time, they've kept my paint looking great between washes for 3 years.

I love this stuff. To me as good as Z6 (if not better) for quick detailing.
I still use Z6 only, when layering coats of Zaino.
