i wonder how they can use the teflon name without any of the actual product- their marketing is based completely on the teflon "nonstick" patent.

also seems like a strange marketing for car care- cant imagine wanting to coat my car with teflon!!

glad it worked for you... probably a good wheel cleaner, and i agree with the guys above that i would not trust it on my paint. you should be o.k. as long as you washed it off and then rewaxed, as suggested.

i assume that this is the product that you used?

Notice how the "Teflon" has an R circled after it. Its just a marketing name nothing more.

And yes that is the stuff I used wanabe.

The area was rewaxed since I waxed the whole car after cleaning it

I used it, the stuff is pretty good!

I did go over my wheels one more time with a wash cloth, but it totally cleaned the grime off of my tires with just one application.

I think I used half of the 32oz. bottle on 4 tires and exhaust

i'd buy it again, but I won't substitute it for hand wash
