Whoa . How did I miss that ?! I'm taking a road trip this weekend (in the bug-infested south) , so I'll try it and report back ASAP . How convenient ....

Even if you use this "bug shield" you should make sure to get the bugs off your car ASAP. Some bugs (especially in the south) have highly acidic guts which will etch your clear coat if you leave them on there.
