Default Drying a car before Zaino use

I was wondering, do I need to get all water marks off the car before I apply the Zaino? Or can I do an ok drying job and then move on?

Basically what I'm thinking of doing is tonight wash the car with dawn, then dry real quick and let the car sit in the garage till tommorow and begin using Zaino tommorow afternoon (shaded garage). But I want to make sure that if I need to get rid of all water marks 100% I'll do that, but I'd rather not and save myself the strain and dry it normal and not spend 3 hours drying every nook and crany.

The plan right now for Zaino use is

1. ZFX usage
2. 2 Layer of Z5 followed by Z6 in between
3. Z6 ontop of newest Z5
4. 1 layer Z2 followed by Z6
5. If swirlspresent repeat Z5 and Z6.

Anyone have any results from layering 2 layers of Z6? Worth trying or will it simply be a waste? Or does there have to be some sort of polish inbetween?

Thanks again for the help =).

two layers of z6 do little. if you plan on this method, I would suggest a quick layer of z6 to remove any dust or waterspots from the previous night.

my s looks very nice with just multiple coats of z5 and z6; I can't wait till I have time to add z2 on top

So you suggest Z6, Z5,Z6,Z5,Z6,Z2,Z6?

Rather than Z5, Z6, Z5,Z6, Z2, Z6?

if you are going to let the car sit overnight, and are worried about waterspots, then yes 6,5,6,5,6,2,6. but don't tell your wife/GF because they will think you are nuts......

zaino makes waterspots and surface imperfections painfully obvious. It is a large reason why I hate washing my car almost more than I hate seeing it dirty....

You must get the water spaots off before Zaino (Z2/Z5). Zaino will only cover the water spots and protect them so they never go away ....

as above, yes- you need to remove water spots and any other imperfections before zaino... if not, they will just show through the zaino

Isn't that the code to Contra? For the original Nintendo? Man, that game kicked ass!
