I've found that useing a clay bar works for removing overspray so it should also work for your issue with paint splatter. I use Griot's with speed shine.

I've removed road line paint specks with clay. They covered most of the car but came off quickly. Nothing like bright yellow freckles all over the finish..... . I used the Meguiers clay that is at most auto parts stores.

yup, clay was first used by auto body shops to remove overspray... then found out that it removes other contaminents so it became a detailers tool.

if the paint blobs are very big the clay might not get them. i would clay the car a couple times and reinspect- then report back.
shoot some pics and post em up if you can (before and after).

Wow man you guys are helpful.

Heard of clay but never used it. I will now

The paint on the car is like silverstone on sebring so it's hard to see but it sounds like sand paper when you run your hand alon it.... YUK.

if you have an O'Rileys auto parts store i found meguires clay on sale for 8.99. advanced auto has bigger clay bars and they usually cost 16 or 17 dollars i believe.

good luck. you can go to the gallery and find out the difference in sebring and silverstone if you really wanna know which one your car is.
