Do you wash your car at home or at a car wash
I've been seeing a lot of my friends and car related video's on Youtube of people washing their cars at a self service car washes. Now I've always washed at home and prefer to wash it there. Please share.

Weekly washes at home, and every, or every other day i drive it i usually take it to the local car wash to get the bugs/road dirt off. That's inbetween quick detailing while im out and about too.

At home with Maguiar's car wash, two buckets and a microfiber sponge. Then I dry it with some microfiber towels. Once completely dry I wipe the whole car down with fresh microfiber towels and Maguiar's detail spray

I wash all my cars at home, about monthly. On warmer winter days, I run a hose from the utility sink just inside the door from the garage and use warm water. I make sure I run my DDs through one automatic car wash with underbody flush every spring after salt season.

Primarily at home (bucket, garden hose, & microfiber towels). Once in a while when my car is REALLY dirty I will take it to the (self service) car wash w/ soap & bucket in tow. *Never use their soap or brushes*

Live downtown so home washing isn't an option. I just head to the local self serve with a bucket, sponge and some Meg. soap. The only annoying part about this is that you can't get the water to come out in a stream like on a hose so it beads off
