Default Do I need ZFX for every coat of Z2?

I used ZFX with my first coat of Z2. (BTW...damn it looks good!) I then followed up with a "coat" of Z6.

Do I need to used ZFX with every subsequent coat of Z2?

Thanx

I usually mix just under an ounce and get three coats and a bit left over. I use the ZFX so I can speed the process. Like wanabe said, as long as you previous coat isn't completely gone, you don't need to use the ZFX.

Basically, the ZFX acts as a binding agent between the paint and polish. As long as you are layering, you are fine.

If you don't use ZFX you should apply a coat of Z1 first. Don't remove the Z1. Apply Z2 directly over it.

What about using Z1 then Z5 with ZFX, then Z2 with ZFX etc?

no need to use zfx if you're using z1 (it's kind of redunant) as Nin009 stated, zfx/Z1 is used as a bonding agent - the advantage of zfx is that it does not take overnight to cure as Z1 does.
