Different Microfiber towel textures
I am the proud owner of a new 2003 Black/Black S2K and want to take proper care of the finish and keep it looking show room clean or better.
I have been looking for microfiber towels at my local Autozone and detail shops and seem to find at least two different textures.
One microfiber towel texture is similar to a normal terry cloth towel with a nap-like texture.
The other is a smoother texture almost like an Oakley sunglasses bag or sunglass cleaning rag.
Is one better than the other? Do they have different uses?
Thanks for your help.

Different textures for different uses. The smooth towels are good for glass and chrome. A looped fiber workes well for applying vinyl treatment and wiping down wheels. The plush fluffy towels work well for removing wax and detailing spray. A waffle weave towel is for drying the car.

I'll second the Pakshak recommendation !
I use them for removing wax, drying the car after washing, removing spray detailer, cleaning windows, and removing dust from the dash board. Simply a great towel for the price !
When I bought my S2000(MY2001), I started using Microfiber towels on day one. I've never used a cotton towel on the painted surface of my car and don't have any swirl marks.
