Default detailing the supercharger

what is the actually blower aluminum or steel? i know the aftercooler is aluminum. which leads me to my next question. is there anything i can use to keep this clean and shiny? thanks.

2. is it clean now and you just want to preserve it, or does it need some cleaning up?

Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish is pretty effective with all metals.

2. yes, i just want to keep it polished and cleaned. it looks like it has some polishing it could use.

You bet it does - I'm a big fan of all Mother's products. The Mag and Aluminum stuff works wonders.

I really like Meguiar's NXT all-metal polish, its very effective on everything I've used it on and its supposed to leave a protective barrier to help prevent corosion.

i haven't seen the meguiar's nxt. but i'll keep my eye out. do they have at pepboys or autozone?

due to the relatively high temperatures the blower itself reaches i dunno if i would use a run of the mill metal polish, i've heard about some ppl using blue away on the blower. but then again i've never used either myself, or even polished a blower for that matter, so maybe standard metal polish would work
