Default Detailer's Domain: Audi TT/Swissvax

This was a detail that I tried to book with an Audiworld member 2 1/2 years ago but we just never could get a date.

Anyway this car needed some TLC. Tons of swirls and light scratches as this is the customer's daily driver and unfortunately it sits outside 365 days a year.

So we cleaned it up with Menzerna Power Gloss compound with an orange ccs pad followed it with Menzerna SIP with a white pad and then finished with Menzerna PO85RD with a blue pad. For our last step we used Swissvax cleaner fluid to prep the paint for Swissvax Divine.

Tools and products used:
Take a look:

Hey Phil,

How come you didn't go with a sealant since it's only an outside car? Just curious!

Also, how do you feel about PG w/ foam pads? Think it's good enough to remove just about any/all swirls? Thinking about stepping it up and getting some PG, but was also told to try the purple wool pads as well?
