I did, but to be honest, it didn't do much good. If there's a chemical that will get those carpets clean, I don't own it. They came out better than they were, but certainly not what I'd call "clean."
Makes me want to get an extractor machine, but jeebus, those things are a lot of money. I think they start out at around $600.
Something about Mark and the carpets in all his vehicles - they're all ruined. The truck he sent me home with has *something* spilled all over. Looks like it may have been coffee, but I think it's actually power steering fluid. I can't even make a dent in it

You can use a shop vac in the meantime instead of an extractor. They are plenty powerful and can suck liquid. I have a wall mounted 5hp bought at sears for like 80 bucks, and I use it more than my bissel shampoo thing.

Yes, try Folex. For the power steering fluid if Folex doesn't do it, try APC at 3 or 4 to 1, if not, try straight up Goop (or other mechanic's hand cleaner) slobbered all over it - brush in then brush out.

The Goop hand cleaner idea is brilliant! Never dawned on me. I use that stuff all the time to remove cone marks from the S2000 after an autocross.
By the way - you guys have really made my week with the kind words. Compliments from this group is high praise indeed. I've seen the work that you guys do and I'm always amazed.
