dent puller
can anyone recommend me a dent puller? I've tried search and didn't find many threads on this. I've owned my car for four years without dents, but i just got one not too long ago.

i bought mine at a swap meet...
so cant tell you where to get the one that i use-
but can tell you that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.
never had to try it on my car, fortunately!!
this is sorta what i have:
http://www.amazon.com/DENT-OUT-CROSS-Ding-...d_bxgy_hi_img_b
my main tips:
use it exactly as the directions tell you.
be very careful to inspect the paint closely. if you see any cracks, the dent puller can pull the paint. so dont use it with paint cracks.
i have been pretty lucky. only a coupla dents i couldnt get. so for me it has been worth the price- those dent removal places are good choice too. not expensive, and they usually do a good job i have been told. i always tell folks that i prob wont be able to fix the dent, but i will give it a try. then when it works they are impressed. on the rare times it doesnt work they have been warned!!

When I first started towing the tire trailer, I was pulling out of my hilly driveway, and jack-knifed it into the back left corner of the S2000. I was furious Right on the character line too. I figured I'd have to live with it.
My local sports car club hosts a "dent day" once a year, so I called the guys that they use. They let me watch, and I swear, I thought he was going to ruin the car. But it's just...gone! And I *know* where to look.
Two thumbs up for a good PDR guy!
