Default Debadging fenders

Ok guys
I got a question for ya...hopefully I can get an answer. I recently debadged by fenders and the passenger side came fine....the driver side however it seems like the adhesive has hardened to the paint. Has this happened to anyone else if so how did you remove it? Thank you in advance

Buddy

P.S I tried Gasoline....didn't work.

just did this yesterday on my new harley... new bikes are required to have reflectors all over.
took them off (man some were like cemented on!)- and spent several hours with the tape removal.

my arsenal yesterday included:

wd-40 (my go to removal product)
bug and tar remover
polish (rubbing compound)
swirl remover (for after compound)
rust remover (weird i know, but it worked in some areas)

only the wd-40 worked by itself... but it only worked on one type of badge that they had. the others required the other choices.

lotsa fingernails too, and several old mfs.

its just a time thing... lotsa time and eventually you will get it.

I recently did mine as well. to soften the adhesive, i taped a paper towel around the adhesive, and soaked it in goo gone about 4 times an hour for 1.5 hours or so. i also used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive. wasnt easy, but made it alot easier. good luck!

A heat gun works very well, just be careful using it around combustibles!

careful with goo gone in can harm the paint, Ricks I think recommends 3M remove, I used something that Autozone had worked like a charm got the front and rear badge off and all of the glue in 15 minutes

Shotgun?

I did this a while ago, and used a heat gun, goo gone, and a whole lot of time.
