Damaged Rim Face
Hello, I was doing some work on my '00 S2000 today and the wind blew a rim/tire over onto its face. It hit the concrete driveway and now there are dozens of pockmarks in it from the gritty face of the driveway.
Can I just use sandpaper (progressing from gritty to smooth grades) and then wheel/metal polish to fix this? I will clearcoat it with something afterward to ward off corrosion...
Is this the "right" fix?
Thanks,
Brian

my first choice would be to find a local wheel repair place...
second choice would be to follow these great instructions:
