Default Curbed my rim

Well yesterday, for some dumb reason I decided to use a atm that I have never used b4 so as I pulled out I didn't notice that I hadn't cleared the curb then I felt my wheel grind all on that cement could have brought tears to my eyes.

Anways, I am worried that the places that are all scratched up will begin to oxidate plus im worried if this will cause the rest of the finish to eventually "flake" off or somthing. Could I sorta sand the area and coat it with a clear coat or is there a product out there for such mishaps. they are UltraLeggaras by the way

thx for any advice.

there are places that specialize in wheel repair...

thought i posted about this recently, but not positive!
best solution is to post up in your local forum to find out the best place near you.

you can do this yourself, but i would recommend against it unless you have done serious grinding or sanding on your car before-

i just did this too.......its a spot about 2 inches long and by like 4 mm wide. i was thinking something like 5 step sanding thing would work with a dremel or something....get it smooth and then polish it??

I never thought I would curb them, I dont mind sanding it down myself but, theres a protective finish on the rims already and Im not sure if there is anthing I can buy to coat it back up. iv seen some curbed rims and after a while they begin to get rusty and its not the look im going 4.

most new wheels are clearcoated, but not all... maybe someone knows your brand-

if they are clearcoated, you might want to remove all clear and reclear the whole wheel (to avoid peeling later on)

It's really not too expensive to have the wheel fixed at a wheel repair shop. I had a couple wheels refinished on my Audi back in the day. I think it cost me maybe $120/wheel. For a smaller repair it's probably less money.
