http://autopia-carcare.com/autopia/meg-g-12718.html

primary prob with nxt is that it does not seem to have staying power...
living in houston, my first choice would be a synthetic with staying power (but they can be expensive and more time involved to apply), such as finish first, zaino, etc. i would top it with a carnuba, but the carnuba would need to be reapplied fairly often- so i would use an easy one like p21s (which would be my first choice anyway).
some folks on this board are using nxt and topping it with carnuba, but its a bit early to know whether this works long term (whether the nxt life can be extended with carnuba).

Again, I'm a newbie what is synthetic wax..im guessing p21s is one since you suggested I use it. And do I have to order NXT online or can I pick it up somewhere. And just to get some feedback what do you think about Zymol and that Kit car washand wax? Thanks!!

sorry...
i should have explained a bit-
synthetics are made of several potential bases- anything except carnuaba wax.
p21s actually is one of the best carnubas. i use it to top over synthetics.
zymol makes several excellent products. one of my fav car shampoos is theirs (car bathe or something like that).
to answer your q re: shampoos with carnuba in them- not my first choice for a car that i really car about (not bad products, i just want to apply my wax myself!)... my pref for a shampoo is one that sheets well (water falls off the car), and lifts grime (good sudsing action).
synthetics take more time to apply/ remove-
finish first is one of the easiest, but it still needs to cure on the car a bit. zaino is my fav, but more difficult to use as it requires two steps in the application the first time.
i order most of my stuff online.
good sites are posted in the thread at the top of this section (also lots more info on zaino is there).
