Ok my car has had it! Chips, scratches galore! So in the future sometime I am considering to have it repainted and give it a quality paint job, but how much would one cost(i am not talking about a full stripdown of the frame and then paint it)

 

$2000 for a stock color.

 

I'd say more like $4000 - $5000 for a 100% repaint job (if for a different color). And somthing like $3000 - $4000 for repainting it the original color. There is a lot of time and labor considered when window seals are pulled to paint the body, engine is lifted to paint engine bay, trim pieces removed to paint inside doors, etc... This has been my experience at least...

 

I had my black S2K repainted from all the chips... It ran around $4k... Same color, and it looked BEAAAUTIFUL.

Of course, you could Earl-Shives it and get it done for $100 bucks too :-)
