Default Compound Splatter in my Raggtop!

Help!
I just buffed the entire vehicle and now I have all the compound splatter embedded in the ragg top of my S2k. Its the XMT STg 3. intermediate swirl remover, pink color. I don't know how to get it out! help!

303 or raggtop vinyl cleaner and a SOFT brush. be careful, if you scrub too hard you'll find a nice hole in your top.

thanks buddy i called a local autoparts store and they confirmed they carry raggtop vinyl cleaner! I'll get that and some auto glass cleaner spray.

use a childrens toothbrush if you dont have a brush suitable for the top. works pretty good and are way cheep too.

303's top cleaner works pretty well. Rinse the top with water and spray the cleaner liberally on the affected areas. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and then scrub it with a soft brush or sponge. Rinse off the top and the residue should be gone. If it's not, then you might need to try something more aggressive, like an alcohol/water mixture. Let us know if this works

man nothing works, i tried that vinyl top cleaner, engine degreaser, plastic bristle scrub brush, tons of water, nothign gets this crap out, its like paint?!

did you let that crap roast in the sun ? shoulda tapped it off or put some plastic over it before buffing?

I'm out of ideas... I know some polishes are a real PITA to get off of a top after they've baked onto it. I've got a couple small spots on mine that I gave up on myself. It might be stained permanently.

whatever, i'll buy a hardtop then. I can't beleive how impossible it is to prevent the rotary buffer from throwing compound everywhere. You would think the manufactures of polishes/compounds would make them less prone to fling.
