Cloudy NFR!
Washed my 04 NFR and proceeded to use Muguiers Gold Class Liquid Wax. THe paint appears to be shiny enough, but at certain angles you can see clouds in the paint, like the wax wasnt all wopied off. I would rub again and again, but cant seem to get rid of the clouds. Can anyone tell me what to do? BTW, I am using very clean, soft bath towels to do the wiping.

It's hard to say what the cloudiness is without seeing it. More than likely it's either dried on wax as you suggested or light scratching of the paint. Either way a good paint polish followed by a glaze will get rid of it. Afterwards, make sure to re-apply your wax as this will remove it. If it is light scratching, it's possible that it was caused by your use of bath towels. If they're not 100% cotton or have polyester stitching this can cause light scratching in your paint. I recommend you go out and buy some nice micro fiber towels instead which will not scratch your finish (make sure not the buy the cheapies).

mikeyc has some good ideas...
i think i would first try a detailers spray- if that doesnt get it then i would use a paint cleaner. but any light polish should do it.

Thanks guys. Used an old Zymol trick that I rememberd. Misted the car with clean water, then lightly hand buff to a shine. Supposed to even it out. Seemed to work. I will know more in the sunlight tomorrow. Will keep you posted. Tried the detail spray, but didnt seem to have an effect. Just cant seem to get that NFR shining the way I want it to...

Hey Mikey - forgot to tell you I used a micro fiber towel on the rest of the car to remove the wax and liked the results much more. Thanks for the help.

I have had the same problems with cloudiness after applying 3m swirl remover.
I dont really like using that product very much and seem to have much better luck using scratch X. After an application of Swirl mark remover i follow up with a coat of meguiars polish and gold class liquid wax. Afterwards no more swirls no more clouds all shine.
