Purple Haze

Hi. My wind deflector is cloudy, not clear. Rubbing my finger along the deflector itself, it seems like the cloudiness is not on the surface but on the inside of it. This may be a chemical reaction to a repainting I had to my car. Is there a way to clear the wind deflector?
