Clearing up Headlights
Hey guys, I about a week ago put 303 on my headlights and it ended up streaking real bad and would not come off in a car wash, and I just now got around to removing the streaks. Anyway this stuff is like impossible to remove and Im using meguairs plasticx.
My question is, is there any kind of factory coating over the headlights that I am removing, like a type of clear coat. And how can I protect my lights after doing this so they dont get hazy from the sun?

I don't believe there is any factory coating on the headlights. I've always used a variety of paint polishes on my headlights to remove any haze/scratches with no ill effects whatsoever. I then wax them with the same stuff I use on the rest of my paint. Are you using Plastx by machine or by hand?
