Default Clear Coat Damage

Hey folks. I just bought a '97 civic for daily driving. The paint on the roof has clear coat damage...basically some of the clear has failed and you can see the paint. Any recommendations? If I leave as is, will it get worse around the surrounding area? I plan to regulary wash and wax the car...

probably gonna need to have it recleared... body shop

positive that this is clear damage? is it peeling?

in the meantime you can continue to wash and wax the car. worst case is that it will continue to peel, but really nothing you can do about that- i would be sure to wax or synthetic it so that the paint is not damaged (otherwise you will need a reclear and repaint)
