ClearBra is only one of many brand names for the 3M Scotchcal film. It also goes by Xpel, InvisiBra, Stongard and a few others. It is like a large sheet of stretchy cellotape (Scotchtape). The difference between brands is in the computer program that cuts the patterns to fit your car. And of course, each company thinks theirs is best.
The material is about 6-8 mil thick and once installed, is barely visibly from more than 10 feet away. It stays on the car, usually applied to the frontal areas that get stone chips the most. You can wash and wax it as you would the rest of the car. After several years of getting dinged by rocks, you can remove it, clean up the surface and buff it up and it'll be like new or you can apply another kit.
Beware that they market two kinds of this film. One is cheaper and is a bit thicker and less pliable. This one has been known to yellow in a very short time. The other one is usually a bit thinner and more stretchy and will never yellow and costs more.
Also, do your shopping first, as prices for an installed kit can vary from under $400.00 to a whopping $1300.00 and in this kind of product you DON'T always get what you pay for.
