Default Cleaning your valve cover
my valve cover is getting pretty dirty just wondering what everybody uses to clean it?

an all-purpose cleaner with a brush...
and i love qd2 for the finishing touch

car shampoo might work too- for the cleaning step.

funny, i decided to check our how tos, and this is pretty much exactly what i do- including the same apc !!:

I do the same thing....

1/1 degreaser, scrub a dub dub...finish off with CD2 engine detailer. Looks better than brand new.

I just use my foam gun and set it to water only mode....as long as you keep the water moving you'll be fine
