Cleaning and waxing the Car...HELP

I used to use a real chamois - always had good results just letting it hang to dry. Lasted a couple years.
I presentl yuse a water blade -and whil ei do sell the Absorber, havent become a fan of how it feels. They work great, and you put them away damp in the tube - but it just feels funny to me. Im a cotton towel and blade guy for now . . even on customer cars Ill use the blade (yea, black ones too)

NOT if you believe Homer2 or me for that matter. When used properly, the "blade" will do no damage. The "possible" problem exists when a speck of grit gets dragged along the front edge of the blade and causes a light scratch. And any kind of scratch will show immediately on a black car. So if you are worried or paranoid or will lose sleep over it, it's not worth it.

I use the blade every once in a while on my black paint w/o any problems.I just make sure I wipe the edge of the blade off after each swipe across the surface.
