cleaning a titanium exhaust
i've recently acquired a used titanium exhaust.
what the best way to clean it?
is mothers aluminum polish ok to use?
on the biker forums, they use WD-40.
any thoughts?
on another note, what's the best way to get burnt plastic off a stainless steel tip?

mothers should work-
pretty funny about the wd-40. yes, i used it for a long time on the chrome on my jeep cause of the hog (harley owners group)- they told me that was the stuff to use. prob o.k., but i dont use it anymore. i use metal cleaners or polishes.
got pics of what you are trying to clean? if normal dirt, your car shampoo will prob get it fine. only if its tough do you really need the special stuff.

i would first use p21s cleaner (or just about any good cleaner) on that, followed by metal polish on the parts that still need cleaning up.
