The Raggtop stuff has no residue, but you have to mask off the area around the top to protect them from overspray. It takes time to do the job, but it lasts forever.

I think the tire protectorant on the top is a bad idea. It's greasy kid's stuff.

Go to Wal-Mart and look in the boating section next to Autos. They carry a really good vinal protectant that I use on my S2000's top. It really makes it look great and the water beads up just like it's been waxed.

Good suggestion but what is the name of the product you are suggesting

I use 303 but everytime I put the top down, it leaves a film on the back window. However, I do not notice a film on the car after a rain and we get plenty of it here in New Orleans.

Does Wolfstein's RAGGTOPP Protectant film your back window when you lower the top?

I use Amazing Roll-Off on my top about once every two months or on bird poo. In between, I just wash it like the rest of the car. My top still looks brand new. I get comments on it from oher owners quite often. I used the 303 protectant one time. I think the Roll- Off does just as good a job.

My car is two years old and my soft top is in perfect condition. I clean it with a stiff spray from the hose when washing it and keep the car garaged when not in use.
