cleaning that plastic window??
can Invisible Glass be safely used to clean the plastic window on the older S2000 or is another product preferred? I just got a used 2000 S2000 and want to clear that window up.

You gonna get flamed and told to do a search about this. Before you do, I use Mequires's cleaner, and then Plexus polish. Have a (Muz?) mat in the roof well to protect it when it's down, and use two rolled lengthwise white all cotton towels along the outside of the window (hems folded in) placed there with the top half lowered and plastic smoothed by hand before fully lowering the top. This protects the outside from rubbing against itself when folded. The window will get scratched very easily. You can't even brush snow off it w/o messing it up. Treat it gently, and it should be ok. Here's mine after two and a half years:

cape cod is right on with his advice...
my rear plastic window is not used very often so it doesnt get in very bad shape- i use only plexus.
and i also have the muz mat and use a rolled up towel as cape code suggests.
the hardest part of all of this is the plexus on the inside of the window- you will learn to be a contortionist to apply it there!!
