what products are you guys using out there to wash your MF Towels?
and whats your method? Do you use the vinegar? Do you wash them seperately only wih MF Towels? Do you wash them 3x? Do you throw them in the dryer afterwards?

I wash in washing machine. I add about 1/2 cup vinegar. I do a double rinse. I have a front loader washer which uses much less water than a top loader. The amount of vinegar you use may vary. Not sure if you can use too much. And I wash them by themselves.

I use a soap that contains no dye or perfumes to clog the fibers of the MF towels. Do not use dryer sheets on MF towels as they will over time inhibit the effectiveness of the towels. I use a specific MF towel cleaner about twice a year and air dry my towels.

I've started using Charlie's Soap to clean my towels. It's fragrance and softener free, and really gets them clean. I also use some dryer balls to fluff them up in the dryer. These two steps are really helping a lot. The towels are back to nice and fluffy, and are absorbing better too.

i use an mf soap. have several to choose from, and can not tell the diff.
wash only mfs and after the first rinse, they get a second rinse with a splash of vinegar. prob overkill cause the mf soaps also make them soft. but hey, old habits dont break easily!
they do go in the dryer- on the "no heat" or lowest heat setting (if i use any heat, i check on them to make sure they are not getting too warm- if the start to, i switch off the heat).

My wife wanted one of those front loading washing machines a couple of years back. Those ain't cheap. Well, she prevailed (as usual) and we got the front loader washer AND matching drier. I ran my microfibers through the machine with ordinary detergent (like Tide) and then through the direr. They came out as "clingy" as new. I know you weren't looking for an $800 solution, but at least it is a solution, and a permanent one.

^^^I could have written that same post!
I got a front loader this year too and the MFs come out like new using just regular laundry soap. It does a much better job than my old top loader did using MF soap. Plus my electrical bill went down $30/month with the new machine so now I have more detailing money! This what you call a win-win situation!

My job is keeping me SUPER busy. I did just get back from a week of vacation though.
Right now I'm cruising around in an '07 Infiniti G35x which I've owned since new. I traded in my S2K for it. I needed more trunk space and a back seat. My S2K was a lot faster to detail though.
