Nope, none of us believe it, so we dont waste our time. I dont see how something in a bottle can replace a piece of clay.
For the few buck it likely costs, I think I'd be willing to at least test out the Turtle Wax stuff - for science

That's what I was thinking... There was that other product (a little obscure) that was a foam with a sponge-type applicator that was supposed to replace clay, as well (it was quite expensive and gave about 2 applications, I believe).
