Claybar necessary before polish?
I've polished my cars several times over the years and although I do claybar before I do just a wax job, I've always skipped the claybar process when I plan to polish. In this case I plan to use Menzerna Intensive polish w/ yellow pad, followed by Menzera Final polish w/ white pad. What's the added benefit if any to claybarring before I polish. Seems like a waste of time to me or am I missing something?

Claying helps remove potential contaminants in the paint that your polisher can pick up and grind into the paint.

I would clay the paint prior to polishing.
if you want to speed up your process consider the NanoSkin AutoScrub Pad or NanoSkin AutoScrub Mitt

Thanks, I have have considered the Nanoskin for exactly that purpose. Looks like it would save a good deal of time not to mention the ability to wash it off and reuse.
