clay + nxt + s100 + 04 GPW

figured i'd try nxt because i ran out of zfx -

started with clay - then added a coat of NXT then figued i'd top with S100









starting to rain and i have no garage yet off to bed because i'm tired from all this work

but you say you added a coat of zfx...
did you mean you added a coat of nxt?
or did you layer the two?

whoops sorry about that guys -

started with clay, then added one coat of NXT (because i was out of zfx) then topped with s100.

all the reading i found stated that you can't add extra layers of NXT because of a cleaning agent -

Also skip the s100....I applied a layer of s100 over NXT and there was no difference in dust/shine/durability.....its just a waste of time.

I tried it on half of my car to make a comparision (black car), and there wasn't any. I highly doubt it will add extra protection....after 4 weeks (through a couple rainy days and extremem dust here in L.A.) I didn't see any difference....I read something about since NXT is so slippery, the s100 doesn't really stick to it.

But if you feel safer with it on, then by all means

Saint_Spinner,

can't see how a few extra coats of s100 over nxt can hurt - thoughts are that since i can't add multiple coats of nxt (unlike zaino) the s100 should add extra protection
