A clay bar and a decent wax like Megs #26 is a good start.
Good combo for what? Depth? Wetness? Durability? "Good" is a really relative term and you'll need to ask a more specific question to get a more helpful answer. Based on your question it sounds like you're new to the whole detailing scene. Do some reading up and educate yourself and then you'll either already have your answers or you'll be better equipped to ask the question to get the answer you seek.
