Default Carpet Care

I recently decided to switch my interior to Tan. I found a person selling both the tan carpeting and floor mats. He states that the condition is good but that they could use a cleaning.

I have searched the Domain but could only find Adam's Carpet Care. Is this good? Are there any other products which could bring the carpet back to new or almost new condition? TYIA.

I use Folex myself. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowe's. I have heard good things about Chemical Guy's Lightning Fast carpet cleaner and Zep's High Traffic carpet cleaner as well.

Rog - I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now. What's your technique with Folex? I'm clearly doing something wrong. A lot of people like the stuff, I can't get it to work.

If you are spot cleaning, just follow the directons on the label.

When I do floor mats, I use one of those Bissell LGM. I fill up to the solution line with the Folex, and fill up to the water line with warm water, in the solution tank of course. I use the sprayer on the end to apply, then scrub, then extract. My bissell is the one with built in heat FWIW.

Is there any cleaner which doesn't require the use of other items such as a high powered vacuum or such? I really don't want to spend more than I need to.
