Carbon TS hood, Tips on washing my car
So guys I decided to purchase a Seibon CF vented hood. I was wondering how woud I wash my car with the vents there? I dont have "rain guards" and I am worried about messing up my motor. Is there a trick to this or where could I find "rain guards"?

if you are careful, you can wash it as is... i wash my car top down sometimes- same theory. just keep the water away from the vents.
or - you can tape plastic on the inside (like a plastic bag) and stuff the vent with old rags. the rags will catch most of the water and the plastic will make sure.

You aren't going to mess up your motor unless you wash the car while it is running and you have the hose on full power pointed right at the alternator/intake/etc.
Think about it like this. The car drives fine in the rain. You are probably getting the same, if not more water in the engine area from rain then you will from the hose. Yes, even on the alternator. And the car still runs fine.
If it worries you, just take some precaution and don't fire the hose right at the parts and you'll be fine. If you really want to, put a towel over the 'scary' parts. They will still get wet, but they won't have direct contact with the water stream. Then just use some towels and dry the engine bay down.
