carbon restoration of hood? diy anywhere
had a guy at work ask me about carbon restoration. anyone have a DIY on the sanding process? I know for a fact a few of the members here have done this.

go check the wash and wax detailing forum..it might be there...
well i did do this on my cf hood before...i just wet sand it using a sanding block made out of rubber flip flops, and some 2000 grit (soaking wet with little detergent).
then i use a rubbing compound after the wet sand then after that i polished it....then it looks brand new already....
