Carbon Hardtop Protection - UV
I'm looking at a carbon fiber hardtop, and I was wondering if there is a product that offers maximum UV protection that I could apply to the carbon fiber on a regular basis. If anyone knows of a product that offers good protection please let me know. I know 303 Aerospace offers such protection but it doesn't stick or absorb into the surface so I don't think it would be very helpful on carbon fiber. I probably need something along the lines of a wax or sealant. Thanks for reading, any reply would be appreciated, thanks.

a layer of sealant and top it off with a coat of wax should do the job. as for a sealant i'd suggest something like menzernas power lock and for wax maybe something like p21s.

Thanks for the tip, I've got some power lock already that I use on the body so that is good, I'll check out the p21s for top coat, thanks

Just one tip...don't get caught up in the "more money means it must be better" thing. You don't have to spent hundreds to get something great. IMHO

With sun being the major enemy a cover over the top would be the best option. This particular one would work well, or the CoverCraft version.
