Default Car Wash -

Do you guys put the S2000 in the Drive-Through Car wash? I think all the spinning brushes will cause paint & soft top damage so I hand wash.
Does anyone here use the drive through wash? What's your experience?

I think that if I ever need to wash my S away from my own drive way it'll be a hand wash place...but it will never see a machine auto drive through wash ...

- I think this goes to Wash & Wax soon?

I let my car go dirty rather than going to a car wash. You'll get spider-web scratches if you take it to a wash.

Unfortunately, this pretty much precludes winter driving for me, as it's too cold to hand wash. I don't mind, though, as the road conditions around here in the winter are bad.

NEVER take it through any wash. The soap is strong and will remove your wax/zaino in time. Also, the brushes/rags pick up dirt from other vehicles and can scratch yours especially in winter when vehicles get very dirty. I can actually wash mine off in the garage in winter and hose out the garage. Dont do it in extreme cold temps unless you like to ice skate.

my opinion of drive through car washes is that they aren't good. All i can think about with them is they take up the dirty and particles off the car, all the junk they pick up gets applied to the next car to go in, i would think it would cause damage to paint and such...
i always handwash cars, never drive through

Emphatically! Under no circumstances should an S2000, or any other convertible for that matter, ever be put through an automatic car wash of any kind.
