Default Car Cover tips and questions

Hey, I have some q's about the car dust cover.
I've been putting it on religiously when I park the car at night or when I'm at work...

However, I was wondering if this was bad to do right after your park and the engine/car is still pretty hot?

Also - anyone have bad experiences with the cover inviting bad things happening to your car (aka people thinking their heads that you think you're so cool because you have a cover, so they purposely come **** with your car?)

thanks in advance

the honda cover is such a great cover that i have two of them...
(when the car is clean i change covers, and then wash the "dirty one")
soft, thick enough and easy to use.
its not weather proof, but does a great job as a dust cover.
my car is covered by one if i am not in it-

since it is always covered, it is often covered hot.
also have a bike that gets covered, and can tell you that i learned the hard way to be sure to get a cover with heat resistent lower parts (like the honda cover)... covered the bike hot with its cover a month ago or so- that cover does not have heat resistent lowers and i ended up melting some on the exhaust!! again, not a problem with our honda covers-

never had any problems from jealous folks with the car covered.

I've never had any problems covering up my S after a drive. I get to work and cover it up immediately after. The Cal Car Covers are pretty good and will not singe from hot tailpipes either.

I've never had a problem with anyone messing with my car with the cover on. *knocks on wood*
