Default Can you wax a satin finish?

I just recently painted some hard motorcycle luggage with a satin black finish. Came out great. I know you can't wax flat black, but can I wax a satin finish?

Actually, I like the satin finish, just want to protect it and would like it to be easily cleaned.

You might try 303 protectant, it's approved for painted surfaces and leaves a satin finish. And it has UV inhibitors which should help keep your luggage in good shape out in the sun. I would try it on a small underside area and see how you like it before doing the whole compartment.

Wax it like normal. There have been various tests done by pro's and normal wax/sealant all will work fine without adding shine/changing the look.
Swissvax makes a wax dedicated for this type of finish, but even it has been proven to work just like normal wax

Thanks guys. I have to let it cure some, then I'll decide what's next. I'm tempted to wax it.
