Can I put Z2 on top of P21S?
OK, so here is what I have done since Friday-
Dawn, Clay, Z1-Z5, Z6, (Sun)Z6, Z5, Z6, (Today) P21S (whew!).
I want to finish with Z2. Can I put Z2, should I put Z6 first, or will that remove the P21S? - What should I do next?
BTW
The car is looking amazing! MUCH better thant when I picked it up new from the dealer last year!!! Thanks for all your tips and help so far!!!

You'll find varying opinions on this site but many do sandwhich P21s and Zaino. The majority leave P21S as the last layer. If you want to build the coating you can layer the two, but always end with P21S as the top coat.
Why do you want to put Z2 over P21S; is there something you are not satisfied with thus far?

as one of the original sandwichers, i would not end with z2... i always end with p21s.
got this idea from the detail sprays that i use. several have carnuba in them and they always made the z2 deeper, imo. then i found p21s and it was a natural topper.
i also would not put z6 over p21s. but i do use detailers sprays that contain carnuba over p21s (not when the car is first detailed, but as "quick detailers").

Its not that I wasn't satisfied, I just wanted to get the best results and Zaino's says to end with Z2. It was the first time I've used P21S and I was anxious to try it. I guess I should waited till I Z2'd - I guess I'm done!!!! I needed a lot of Z5 for swirlls. Next time I'll do Z5 Z2 P21S...
Thanks

I'm going to take a stab at this:
Zaino is a polymer that "bonds" to the paint surface. Placing a laying of wax down FIRST, to me anyway, would be like wiping Crisco on a piece of wood then trying to paint it... Sure, some of the Crisco would be colored, but it wouldn't actually 'dry' to the surface itself.
However, I can see doing the reverse, where the wax(crisco) is ontop of the covered surface, however...there's a concern there (that actually happened to me on a black car), which is: Because of the Zaino, the surface tention is reduced (hence the natural beading that occurs), when the wax gets hot (like in my case on a black car in texas), the thin layer of wax ontop of the zaino will 'bead' just like water... and becomes little tiiiiny wax 'spots' you have to wipe off.
In short, I wouldn't mix waxes with polymers... your results may vary,

3M swirl remover is a remover - a mild abrasive. Z2 and Z5 may be interchanged at will. Z2 is a bit shinier. That's the claim and I've tried a couple times to decide if I was really seeing a nicer shine with Z2 or if it was in my head. But, yes, it does really look better.
If you are going with wanabe's p21s route, you may not need Z2.
