the swirl marks are very bad ...not at all like you would see on a 5-7 year old black car. I use terry cloth towels very gently ...i have never heard of 3m making a swirl remover ....

3M makes a number of products for the body/detailers shop. There are a variety of masking tapes, tools, fillers, wetordry sandpaper, cleaners, and a wide assortment of cutting/polishing/protective agents. Think complete detailing systems for the professional shop!
My black 93 Accord probably looked like a 2 year old car with normal care. I only used NEW quality cotton towels, not left overs from the bath room, car wash shampoo, artificial or natural lambs' wool wash mitt, and chamois for drying. I have been detailing for a number of years.
On a sunny day, a detailed black car is drop dead gorgeous and mine always turned heads.

what exactly do you guys mean by "swirl marks". i have owned white cars in the past and have no idea what it looks like in person. are you guys talking about the light scratches in the clear coat?
