California Duster
okay well iv been using a california duster on my berlia for a few months now, and it was a nice day finally so i went out and polished every scratch and swirl out (paint was terrible). So previous to polishing the car i didn't really care since the paint was terrible any way, but i just wanted to know if using it on my scratchless paint seems like a good idea if i can keep up with it, if not what do you guys do? my car gets pretty dusty in 1 day just opening and closing the garage, its pretty bad. Thanks

I use one before I use my car cover just so I don't grind the dirt and dust into the wax/paint. I very lightly move the ends of the duster over the paint, and I shake it out frequently. A light touch is the key.

am with fastd on this...
mine is dusted coupla times a week- dust it and then detail spray it on the top surfaces, at least. usually also detail spray the wheels and exhaust (use an old rag for this)
be sure that your car is rewaxed (or syntheticed) after the polishing- its the polish that shines and the wax that protects!

You said in your original post that you used your duster whenever on your car when it was in crappy shape. There is no doubt you have a crapload of stuff stuck to your duster and you should not use it after you have polished your car unless you wash the duster thoroughly and hang dry.
Wanabe gets away with it because let's face it, his car is never really dirty.
