?wHiCh BUFFER IS BEST?/ALSO WHICH POWER WASHER?
#2
1. for the buffer i recommend the porter cable- lotsa info at the top of our main page... or if you have more questions, post em back!
in any case, you want a random orbital machine (the pc is one of those)
2. i would not use a power washer on a car- and especially not on a convertible. they can be useful if you have to wash an rv where you really dont care about swirls and paint perfection

I recommend starting out with a Porter Cable dual action polisher and then depending on your skill level , moving towards a Rotary.
I am most likely making the move to a Rotary after using a PC for about 3 years now. why ? I find the Porter Cable does not fully remove swirls and bad scratches , and it takes me way too long.
IMHO the best combo and what i'm working on is a Rotary for Swirl Removal and Porter Cable for pre wax cleansers and LSP's..
As for your power washer, I only use it on the wheels and in the winter when i jack up the car .. It gives a good blast to rid the salt and grime that builds up.
