Default broke plastic window

my dumb brother just broke my(second new) plastic window when he was playing with the soft top......he felt my fu... fury .....anyway i want to install the glass one, but i heard that it needs some modification on the frame .....help with the link on how to do so...please

You couldn't put the OE glass window (02-03) into the (00-01) because it folds differently. You would need to replace the full frame as well as the top and the glass is slightly bigger and not interchangeable

Look at the size of the opening,in a top with a plastic window,and compare it to the size of a glass window.
Glass window is much smaller.
You cannot fill a big hole,with a a small glass window.

thanks for the links, look like if i want the glass window(whole soft top) i can do some modification the the frame...instead of buying it....

a long time ago i saw some pictures how to do it(frame mod)...but don't remenber where...still looking for it

i found the pictures. but i just bought the whole 04 frame and motors and glass window with top for 350 so i think its just bolt on now.

Well, if you just get a plastic window and treat it with 303 once in a while. it wont break, because it will remain too soft and supple to break. This is your cheap fix. But with this treatment, my 4 1/2 year '01 plastic rear indow is still as soft, supple and clear as the day it was new.
